If you’re looking for a full day of music topped off with a delicious evening dinner, then join us on Thursday, June 12^th. This will be an exceptional day of summer fun and relaxation hosted by Laura and Gary Block. It’s not too early to sign-up today. This show is different than our other five offerings at Jaspers this summer.

We depart Little Falls at 11:20 a.m. from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot and will also pick up in Randall, Motley, Wadena or anywhere else on our route. Our North Star motor coach will take us north to Park Rapids at Jasper’s Theater, a landmark of Park Rapids since 2004. Jaspers is a cozy log theater nestled in the peaceful pines east of Park Rapids. The theater is air-conditioned with a sloped floor (no stairs) for easy access and an excellent view from every seat. Bathrooms are easily accessible right inside the main door. We have fabulous reserved seats for Jasper’s “Hand Clappin’ Gospel & Comedy Show”. Join us for a good old-fashioned hymn sing where Jasper’s family makes a joyful noise unto the Lord! They’ll put the words up on a screen and you can join them in hand-clapping gospel favorites, hymns and choruses. Jaspers is not just a venue, it’s a community gathering where families, friends and visitors come together to share in the magic of live performances. Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience. Join Jaspers as they take you down memory lane with the songs of your childhood. Dan will bring the spirit with his country fiddlin’, while the 4^th generation shares beloved tunes from your Sunday school days. Plus, get ready for a good old-fashioned Gaither-style hymn sing that will lift your heart and bring back treasured memories. This is the first of only two gospel shows in 2025. After the show, we’re having dinner at La Pasta Italian Eatery in Dorset, the tiny town that’s the “Restaurant Capital of the World”. With a population of 22, there are four very good restaurants in own, as well as several shops. Choose one of the seven entrée choices…spaghetti & meatballs, chicken fettuccini, manicotti, cannelloni, lasagna, grilled veggies & chicken on linguini and a vegetarian choice, zucchini Italiano. It’s a fun time in Dorset, where they boast the most unique mayoral race in the country, where anyone can become the mayor for a small fee. La Pasta is a restaurant where we had a great experience the past eleven years. It doesn’t get any better than this. It’s all here, a complete day of entertainment and great food.
