If you’re looking for a full day of classic country music at Jaspers Theater in Park Rapids and a delicious dinner in Dorset, then join us on Tuesday, July 21^st. This will be an exceptional day of summer fun and relaxation hosted by Laura and Gary Block. It’s not too early to sign-up today.

We depart Little Falls at 11:20 a.m. from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot and will also pick up in Randall and Motley or anywhere else on our route. Our North Star motor coach will take us to Jaspers Theater, a landmark since 2004. Jaspers is a cozy log theater nestled in the peaceful pines east of Park Rapids. The theater is air-conditioned with a sloped floor (no stairs) for easy access and an excellent view from every seat. Bathrooms are easily accessible right inside the main door. We have fabulous reserved seats for today’s show “Country Classics & Iconic Duets”. Get ready for a boot-scootin’ afternoon featuring the legendary hits of Dottie & Kenny, Tammy & George, Johnny & June, Conway & Loretta, Dolly & Kenny, plus a dah of sparkle with Neil Diamond & Barbra Streisand. “Jackson”, “You’re the Reason God Made Oklahoma”, “Islands in the Stream, “Together Again” and more. Dan Brekke will bring every song to life with his incredible fiddle and guitar chops while Kathie Brekke and Doug Allen Nash captivate you with their spot-on harmonies and playful chemistry that will keep you smiling thru the whole show. This afternoon is packed with unforgettable duets, classic tunes and pure country fun. It doesn’t get any better than this. It’s all here, a complete day of entertainment and great food. After the show, we’re having dinner at La Pasta Italian Eatery in Dorset, the tiny town that’s the “Restaurant Capital of the World”.  With a population of 22, there are four very good restaurants in town, as well as several shops.  Choose one of the seven entrée choices…spaghetti & meatballs, chicken fettuccini, manicotti, cannelloni, lasagna, grilled veggies & chicken on linguini and a vegetarian choice, zucchini Italiano.  It’s a fun time in Dorset, where they boast the most unique mayoral race in the country, where anyone can become the mayor for a small fee.
