A Tram Tour, Lunch and 2-Hour Cruise

Experience a fun and entertaining event on Thursday September 24^th. Join Gary Block Tours as we travel to Chaska, Victoria and Excelsior. Our comfortable North Star motor coach will depart Little Falls from the northeast Wal-Mart parking lot at 7:15 a.m. We’ll also pick up in Royalton, Rice, Waite Park or anywhere else on our route. Our day in the Twin Cities begins with our first adventure at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska which spans over 1200 acres of breathtaking display gardens, award-winning tree collections and prairie areas. Home to more than 5,000 plant species, it’s a must-visit destination for nature lovers and garden enthusiasts. The Arboretum ranks among the top botanical gardens in the USA. A tour guide will join us on a tram for a narrated, one hour tour on Three-Mile Drive highlighting the varied collections, display gardens and the farm at the Arb. Founded in 1958, it attracts nearly 700,000 visitors each year. After the tram tour, we’ll enjoy a Flowerpot lunch at the Arb which includes a choice of turkey or ham sandwich or veggie wrap, chips, an apple, cookie and bottled water. Please let us know your lunch choice when you sign up. You’ll receive a 10% discount in the Gift & Garden Store which offers unique collections for the nature lover and horticulturist in your life. You’ll also find one-of-a-kind gifts from local artisans and more. After lunch, we’ll stop at the Apple House in Victoria, an iconic seasonal destination. You’ll find University of Minnesota introduced apple varieties for sale, along with gourmet packaged foods, frozen pies, pastries, fudge, gifts and more. Our adventure continues as we travel to Excelsior, the home of Wayzata Bay Charters, Lake Minnetonka’s premier cruise line. We’ll board a 56-foot Skipperliner, the Voyageur, for a two-hour cruise and view the beautiful homes, boats and nature, all awaiting you on Lake Minnetonka. A cash bar is available on the boat. What a day!! Limited to 44 people!! We’ll be returning to Little Falls around 7:00 p.m.
