Step into the shoes of an inmate at Folsom Prison in 1968 and participate in the electrifying Johnny Cash Show. Feel the palpable tension as the watchful warden and his guards keep a vigilant eye, while Johnny Cash, June Carter and The Statler Brothers ignite the stage with their timeless music. This will be a truly enjoyable day with the best in entertainment and delicious food. Our comfortable North Star Coaches motor coach will depart Little Falls on Friday January 16th from the northeast Wal-Mart parking lot at 10:10 a.m. We’ll also pick up in Royalton, Rice and Waite Park. We’ll start with a delicious buffet lunch at Coyote Moon, east of St. Cloud. As always, our luncheon buffet will be featuring three hot entrees, potato, vegetable, popovers, homemade soup, tossed Caesar salad, dessert and beverage station. It’s always a pleasure having lunch at Coyote Moon with a relaxed atmosphere and caring staff. After lunch, we head to the Paramount Center for the Arts in downtown St. Cloud. We have reserved seats waiting for us on the main floor for “Folsom Prison Experience”. Now you can be part of this historic performance. Dress as an inmate, if you like, and be part of the show! Unleash the inmate in you and experience the legendary Johnny Cash Show at Folsom Prison. Right from the start when “doors open”, you will know you are not in “Minnesota” any longer. The sights. The sounds. The feel will be like you are at Folsom Prison on January 13, 1968. Don’t mess with the guards or the warden. They have a job to do! Even the ever-serious DJ/emcee Hugh Cherry has a job to do and won’t let you forget it. Oh, and don’t be late for “Roll Call” or you could end up in the hole. Get ready for an electrifying and authentic experience like no other. The “Folsom Prison Experience” will make you a part of history, immersing you in the raw energy that made Johnny Cash’s performance truly legendary. This show stars the voice of “House of Cash” singer Jay Ernest Kalk in the lead role of Johnny Cash. Enjoy the music and have a lovely day!! We’ll be returning to Little Falls around 4:30.
