Join Gary Block Tours on Wednesday, May 6th, for lunch and show at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, where we have fabulous reserved table seating beginning in the 2^nd row in the center section of the main theater for “Guys and Dolls”. Our comfortable North Star motor coach will depart from the northeast parking lot at Walmart in Little Falls at 8:30. We’ll also pick up in Royalton, Rice, Waite Park or anywhere along our route. Lunch at the Chanhassen means friendly tableside service and a wide choice of entrees such as the famous Chicken Chanhassen, smoked blackened Orange Roughy, vegetable lasagna, boneless fried chicken tenders, Waldorf salad, macro bowl, Swedish meatballs or cheeseburger and fries served with freshly baked rolls and coffee, tea or milk. (Entree items are subject to change…and normally do! Don’t make up your mind until you see the menu that day.) Following our delicious lunch, there’s time to take a break, visit the gift shop or explore the theater. Then sit back in some of the best reserved tables in the theater as Chanhassen Dinner Theatres presents for the first time in over 35 years a thrilling and electric staging of “Guys and Dolls”. Charming but broke gambler Nathan Detroit is short on cash for the biggest craps game in New York City and the authorities are breathing down his neck. Meanwhile, longtime girlfriend and club performer, Miss Adelaide, is tiring of their 14-year engagement with no wedding in sight. Nathan looks to fellow high-roller Sky Masterson for the cash and the two concoct a bet for Sky to whisk away the straightlaced missionary Sarah Brown off to Havana. Sarah is determined to save the souls of the gamblers, setting in motion a series of events where love and redemption intersect. With a vibrant score featuring songs like “Luck Be a Lady”, “A Bushel and a Peck” and “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat”, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres brings you all the laughs, thrills and songs when you experience “Guys and Dolls”. We’ll be returning home around 6:20.
