Broadway’s corniest hits “Shucked” is stalkin’ America and endorsed by the official stalks-person, Reba McEntire. This corn-fed, corn-bred American musical is sure to satisfy your appetite for great musical theater and now it’s your chance to experience this Broadway production at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis. Gary Block Tours invites you to join us Sunday, January 11^th for a fabulous matinee and reserved seats on the main floor. We’ll depart Little Falls at 9:00 am from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot. Our comfortable North Star motor coach will also pick up in Royalton, Rice, Waite Park or anywhere else along our route. We’ll stop at Culver’s in Maple Grove for lunch on your own. From Maple Grove, we travel to downtown Minneapolis and the Orpheum Theatre for “Shucked”. The Orpheum opened in Minneapolis inn 1921 and its first performance included The Marx Brothers with more than 70,000 guests attended on opening week. “Shucked” is the Tony Award-winning comedy about an unlikely hero, a lovable con man and an a-maize-ing battle for the heart and soil of Cob County. The New York Post says the show is “Just so funny the audience sits in a state of perpetual giggling”. The buzz is real, this is one of the ten best Broadway shows of the year. We’ll be returning to Little Falls around 6:00. If you were to purchase these seats through Ticketmaster, the price would be $111.75, plus gas and parking downtown bringing your cost way over $150! The final day to sign up is November 24^th since we must turn in our final numbers that week.
