blockbuster” according to the New York Times. From the first electrifying note
to the final breathtaking moment, “Wicked” – the untold true story of the
Witches of Oz – transfixes audiences with its wildly inventive story. Join Laura Block on Thursday, July 9, for
this fabulous Broadway production at the beautifully restored Orpheum Theatre
in downtown Minneapolis. Our comfortable
North Star coach departs Little Falls at 9:15 a.m. from the northeast corner of
the Wal-Mart parking lot. We’ll also
pick up in Royalton, Rice, Waite Park or anywhere else on our route “Wicked” is
the untold story of the witches of Oz.
Lunch is on your own today at Culvers in Maple Grove. Celebrating over 1 years on Broadway and
having been seen by over 70 million people worldwide, the musical has played in
16 countries around the world, has been translated into six languages and is
currently the fourth longest running production in Broadway history! Long
before Dorothy arrives in Munchkinland, two girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald green skin, is smart,
fiery and misunderstood. The other is
beautiful, ambitious and very popular.
How these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the
West and Glinda the Good makes for “the most complete – and completely
satisfying – new musical in a long time” according to USA Today. Our seats are on the main floor, Section 1,
in rows O through S. These same seats
would cost you over $160 each during a week-end performance, plus parking and
gas costs, easily in excess of $190 if you chose to drive to Minneapolis on
